Stack Space runs an application-based affiliate partner program: apply, get approved, and earn a published flat amount every month for every business you refer — $3 on Launch, $18 on Starter, $40 on Professional, $100 on Agency — for as long as they stay a paying customer. Commissions pay out monthly through Stripe. No caps, no minimum referral count, no tiers to grind toward, no year-two step-down. And anyone who signs up through your link gets 20% off their first month, so you’re handing a friend a discount, not asking them to overpay so you get paid.
This is the cash program. It’s separate from the refer-a-friend perk baked into every account (that one saves you and a friend 20% each) — the two don’t overlap, and the FAQ below spells out which is which.
What’s the commission, exactly?
A fixed dollar amount per month, set by the plan your referral is on:
| Their plan | Their price | You earn, every month |
|---|---|---|
| Launch | $25/mo | $3 |
| Starter | $120/mo | $18 |
| Professional | $350/mo | $40 |
| Agency | $800/mo | $100 |
We set each figure at roughly 20% of that plan’s profit in its worst month — the month a customer burns every last unit of their allowance. Publishing it as a flat number instead of a live percentage is deliberate: “20% of profit” is something only we could calculate, and you’d have to take our word for it. These four numbers you can check against your own dashboard.
It’s the same amount in month one and month fifty: no caps, no minimum referral count, no tiers to unlock, and it never steps down. If a referral upgrades, you move to the higher row. Your exact commission for every referral shows in your partner dashboard the moment it accrues, with running accrued and paid totals.
Your referral gets a deal too: anyone who signs up through your link takes 20% off their first month. You’re not asking a friend to pay full price so you can get paid — you’re handing them a discount that happens to pay you.

What is one referral actually worth?
Take the middle of the table. One Professional referral pays $40 a month, so a referral who stays three years is $1,440 — and it only accrues in months they actually pay. Ten Starter referrals is $180 a month, every month, with nothing further for you to do. Refer the kind of business that sticks around and it compounds quietly in the background. Your dashboard tallies the running total as it builds, referral by referral.
How does the affiliate program work?
Four steps, start to payout:
- Apply and get approved. Apply on the partner page — tell us who your audience is and how you’ll share Stack Space. We review every application by hand, then your referral link goes live in your dashboard under Affiliate program.
- Share your link. It looks like
stackspacesolutions.com/r/your-codeand tags anyone who clicks it for 30 days, so when they sign up — even weeks later — the referral is credited to you. - They subscribe, you earn. Commissions are calculated on the 1st of every month for every active referral, at the flat rate for their plan ($3 / $18 / $40 / $100), and posted to your dashboard as they accrue.
- Get paid via Stripe. Connect payouts once (a two-minute Stripe onboarding inside the Affiliate page) and your commissions land in your bank account.
Who is the affiliate program for?
- Agencies and consultants who already tell clients what software to run — you were doing the referring for free.
- Customers who like the product — one plumber telling another about the receptionist that books jobs at 9 PM is the whole growth model, and we’d rather pay you than an ad network.
- Creators and community owners with an audience of local-business owners or agency operators.
If you’d rather own the client relationship and set your own retail price — billing clients on your Stripe under your brand — that’s the heavier white-label reseller program, not this one. The affiliate program is the lighter version: we run everything, you cash the check.
FAQ
Do I have to be a customer to be an affiliate? No — the partner program is open to anyone with the right audience (agencies, consultants, creators, community owners). Apply on the partner page; we review applications by hand, and once you’re approved your link lives inside a free Stack Space account. Being a customer helps you sell it, but it isn’t required.
Is this the same as the “Refer a friend” perk in my dashboard? No — they’re two separate programs. The refer-a-friend perk is for every subscriber, no application: refer another business and you both save 20% (your friend gets 20% off their first month, you get 20% off your next). The affiliate partner program is the cash version on this page — apply, get approved, connect Stripe payouts, and earn $3–$100 a month per referral depending on their plan.
How much can I earn per referral? $3/mo for a Launch customer, $18 for Starter, $40 for Professional, $100 for Agency — every month they stay. There’s no cap and no cutoff while they remain a paying customer, and your exact commission for each referral shows in your partner dashboard the moment it accrues.
Why a flat amount instead of a percentage? Because you can audit a flat amount. A percentage of revenue would move with usage add-ons; a percentage of profit would depend on our costs, which you can’t see. Four published numbers, one per plan, means you can work out what you’re owed before you ever open the dashboard — and the dashboard shows the same figure accruing.
When and how do I get paid? Commissions are calculated monthly for every referral that paid that month and pay out through Stripe to your connected bank account. You can watch accrued and paid amounts on your Affiliate page.
How long does the referral tracking last? Your link tags the visitor for 30 days (last click wins), and the referral is credited when that visitor signs up. If someone you referred signs up without your link, we have no way to know they were yours — so send the link, not the homepage.
What happens to my commission if a referral cancels? Commissions apply only to months they actually paid. If they cancel, payments stop — there’s nothing to claw back and nothing owed either way.
Can I refer myself or my own second account? No — self-referrals and same-owner accounts don’t earn commission. Everything else is fair game.
Stack Space is a recurring affiliate program that keeps paying as long as your referral stays — $3 to $100 a month depending on their plan, paid monthly through your own Stripe, for life. Apply, get approved, share your link, and let a good referral compound in the background.
